Diagnostic Trouble Code Description:
Electro Drive Fan 1 (EDF1) circuit malfunction.
DTC P0480 is reported if EDF1 fails the Output Circuit Check during self-test.
The PCM switched on EDF1, but a corresponding draw on power was not registered by the battery load monitor
Possible Wiring Faults
Open circuit to fan relay, blown fuse, damaged or faulty relay, improper connection
Possible Module Faults
Faulty or damaged fan motor. fan stays on: short circuit to Vehicle Power (VPWR) or ground in harness or connector, faulty or damaged PCM
