Circuit / System Description
The telematics module is connected to the drivers side radio speaker via an internal relay. When the Emergency, Holden Assist or Information/End Call button is pressed, the telematics module sends a signal to the radio/HVAC control via the auxiliary radio/HVAC control inputs selected with the aid of the radio mute line. The radio/HVAC control will then mute the radio and allow only the telematics audio and tones to sound through the speaker.
