Do you mean the grab handle mounted on the roof on the inside of the car ?
If so, then it should definitely be possible. Actually I am surprised there isn't one fitted already ?

I will check the workshop manual today, and see what is involved in fitting one up.

Cheers

thanks matti i would really appreciate that. i have a broken leg so having the strap would be a big help to get in and out of the car. it is the one that you describe the grab handle above passenger door
holden probably save $20.00 per car by not fitting one

kind regards

Dammmm, thats nasty of Holden to do that.
Yeah, you would be right, it probably costs them even less than that to fit them up.
I dont understand Holden sometimes. A grab handle should be standard !
Its like the glovebox light, which is not included in some models as well.
Talk about stingy !!!!!

I will have a good look at the workshop manual tonight, and grab screen scrapes of how the grab handle is fitted up, and post everything up that I find.
I will also grab some pictures of the ones on my car as well.

I am 99% sure the mounting points would all be there, just hidden behind the roof lining.
Also, I am sure that the handle would be pretty easy to source from a wrecker, or even brand new from holden.

Leave it with me, and I will have much more info for your tonight !
Cheers

greatly appreciate if you could find out if the mounting nuts are allready on the mounting plate on the bodywork. I don't want to pull down the headlining if they are not there. i can buy a new handle from holden for about $75.00 (they are the rear ones should be the same i hope) they come complete with screws and spacer plate. not sure what spacer is for maybe will be clear when i see it.
the wife will castrate me if i stuff it up as the car is brand new only 1250klms on the clock.
