Does anyone know if the holden roof mounted DVD player is region locked?

Apparently so according to the user manual:
"The DVD player will only play DVD's of the appropriate DVD zone/region code for the country the vehicle was sold in"

It can be changed four times by a Tech2 I think. After the fourth time it's locked on that one.
