Changing VE Calais V Instrument Cluster

Specific interior modification information for Holden Commodore VE and VEII Series Commodores, and HSV E1, E2, and E3 models

I'm changing over a 2008 VE Calais V instrument cluster with another of the same. Can anyone tell me whether I'll need to get it reprogrammed. Thanks

Looks like the cluster only stores the last 8 digits of the VIN in 2 places, nothing i can see should stop the car working, might just get a few funny looks if a dealer ever plugs into it,
