AUX plug with Series 1 IQ Install

Hi Guys,

Thought I would share some of my discoveries whilst playing with an IQ installed into an
E1 Senator.

It is my understanding that a lot of people have had trouble getting the AUX plug to work,
I managed to install an AUX port using the factory series 2 plug from the centre console
and a small bit of loom from the same place

Firstly I will list the location of the Pins required to tap into on your patch Harness in order
for it to work with insertion sensing function. The colour corresponds to the piece of factory
harness I used from the centre console

X4-8 Front Aux Jack Plug Sense (Pink)
X3-5 Front Aux Jack Right (+) (Light Green)
X3-6 Front Aux Jack Left (+) (Dark Green)
X3-11 Front Aux Jack Ground (Dark Blue)
X3-12 Front Aux Jack Ground (Bare Shield/Black)

Keeping in mind these are all corresponding to the pins on the side of the IQ! not the factory
series 1 harness! If unsure message me and i will gladly help

I will post pictures soon if requested, I hope this has helped some people wanting a true factory
function and finish!
