Ok so I have run into a bit of trouble with my install, my MyIQ has been sitting in a box for quite sometime until today when i finally decided to test it out.

I have a Factory S1 Radio fitted in the car currently.

Replacing it with a MyIQ Level 1

Plugged in my conversion lead today and it instantly blew the 15A fuse in the boot???

Have I missed something, is something wrong with my spreadsheet?
Went over the cable before install with my multimeter and pinned out each pin and check for continuity.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

As Per this thread I have pin4 disconnected

I think you might need to bring up the wiring diagrams for both the S1 and IQ, and match them up that way.

Well, I just tried to click on the spreadsheet which is no longer live, so cant help you much there if I cant see what you have done!

This is how I build my adapter harnesses and don't have a problem.

Function - S1 pin - S2 pin
Battery+ - 10 - 11
Ground - 12 - 12
Ground - 16 - 13
Battery+ - 15 - 15
GM LAN - 34 - 16
2009 G8 GXP
586 rwhp - LS3, Cam, TVS2300

So went back through the original wiring diagram, which I added the harness color too.
view_doc.php?doc_id=78&model_id=19

Seems the wiring diagram above has the instruction
X1 10 Battery Positive (+) >>>>>>>>>>>> Connect to X1-13 Ground

Is this the issue, as below looks correct

Going by this I would assume: Pin 10 (series1) move to pin 11 (S2 IQ)...........Pin 16 (s1) move to pin 13 (IQ).........pin 34 (s1)move to pin 16 (IQ) & so on.....Cheers

Yeah, dont expect everything to be perfect first go! Probably something Matti just through together one night. Almost every single tutorial is made by Matti.
