HSV EDI

Specific interior modification information for Holden Commodore VE and VEII Series Commodores, and HSV E1, E2, and E3 models

Has anyone successfully fitted the HSV EDI into an E1 with an IQ upgrade?

Does it need to be coded to the car?

Does it matter if it's from an auto or manual car?

Do you need an E3 cluster to make it work?

Some of us have the EDI box installed but nobody seems to have the time to work on getting it working.

Ive done it a couple of years ago but I have to work out a simplistic way to do it. The IQ does also need the EDI option enabled to access it as Tazzi said

I only have access to the EDI service menu as of course mine is a VIN mismatch. Good to see you are making progress though.

Jezza,
Have you tried to change the model and build number on the splash screen?

I think thats actually stored directly in the EDI itself. Theres no "comms" to intercept or anything. What you see on the screen is what you get! ;)

Well that's a bummer then. My EDI is from another GTS so no dramas there but of course the build number isn't mine so it would've been nice to be able to have my own build number on it.

You'll need to hop in line on trying to get a response back from HSV.

I requested on updating an edi, and got a useless answer from HSV of "HSV cannot help you with your request."

What sort of answer is that.. Then who the hell can help out! Useless.
