Well my old headunit decided the LCD didnt want to work anymore. A buddy gave me his old unit after I helped him install his Chinese aftermarket clone and I thought I would just take the bin of the old radio and transfer it. YET EVERY SINGLE TIME I try it errors out any ideas? I am using a cheap usb (probably my issue) and this software

The dumps look correct based on the other information I have found on this site.
Also just wanted to know if you guys liked this editor -

Gday,
Need a bit more info here..

On what radio? Car? Model?
Cheap programmers + expensive parts generally dont mix too well! Iv found that alot of the time, you will need to to power the device up and read out the eeprom.

Or better yet, desolder the eeprom and try read/write ;)

The radio might drawing too much of the power from the chip when writing. Hence it doesnt work.

Will need to de-solder it and program it off board. ;)

Try it without the Erase. Shouldn't need to erase it just program and verify. If your try and erase I think it will error as it's not supported by that chip from memory. So just get a clean read from the new radio (to make sure the clip is correctly installed), load the old radios bin file and then just program and verify
