Hey guys
what happens if you use a tri zone HCM from a WM Caprice instead of a Dual Zone when converting an SV6 to the SSV radio?
Will the HCM throw an error on the screen because it cant find the rear flap motor and associated control?
I'm trying to source a HCM but struggling. Someone has offered me a WM HVAC quite cheap Trying to work out if the WM will work withut an issue, or will I need to reprogram it back to Dual Zone?
Thanks in advance

Hi there,
Nothing should happen, will just show SZ, DZ and then will show TZ.
I've got a duel zone hvacs here, but the TZ one should be fine.

Ok used a WM Caprice HCM in the SV6 and it works.
As Nathan mentioned it just goes SZ DZ then TZ when changing zones and obviously creates a DTC when scanned with a tech 2 or scan tool as it can't find the rear motors l
