Diagnostic Trouble Code Description: 

Throttle Position Sensor (TP1) circuit high input.
DTC P0123 is reported if the TP sensor signal is greater than the self-test range.

Possible Sensor Faults
TP1 sensor faulty or damaged. Check throttle position sensor connector.

Possible Wiring Faults
Improper connection, TP sensor signal shorted to Reference voltage (VREF) or Vehicle Power (VPWR), Signal Return (SIGRTN) open circuit, Reference Voltage (VREF) shorted to Vehicle Power (VPWR)

Faulty or damaged PCM
