Diagnostic Trouble Code Description:
Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Out Of Self Test Range.
DTC P1184 is reported if the sensor voltage is out of range during self test
Possible Sensor Faults
Sensor damaged or faulty.
Possible Wiring Faults
Improper connection. Sensor wiring open circuit or short circuit to VPWR or PWRGND, VREF or SIGRTN.
Possible Module Faults
Engine cold or overheated during self-test. Operate engine to normal operating temperature and re-run test.
