VE/G8 Cluster Telematics/Scan Gauge

Thought I would share with you guys a little project I'm working on. Ive built the hardware and programmed the embedded software to output telematics information to the DIC/Cluster using the information from PID on the HSCAN bus. Can chime for upshift or if the Knock Retard is too high etc. The idea is to just plug the dongle into your OBDII port or hard wire it in if you want.

Effectively its a HS CAN / GMLAN Bridge with packet alteration and formatting

Very impressed Jez!

Pitty the vy/vz's cant display the text so easily. I was messing with this before, You can manipulate the radio messages to display on DIC but its not as "nice" looking compared to the VE's.

Amazing! Looks good buddy. One of these days I will have to start messing with more than just clusters. If you start making/selling parts I for one would be willing to pay. So many people here put time in effort into these cars and they should rewarded somehow.
