New SYNC Platform - MyFord Touch

Ford is rolling out a new sync platform called MyFord Touch. The old system uses expensive DVD updates for maps provided by Navteq. Navteq is notoriously slow to update new roads. Ford has selected TeleNav as its new map provider for MyFord Touch and updates will be via a download via USB thumb drive. Updates will supposedly be cheaper like a window mounted GPS unit.
