PONTIAC DRIVING EXCITEMENT - YESTERDAY, TODAY AND TOMORROW

Pontiac, GM's performance division, enters the 2003 model year with a contemporary form of Pontiac excitement - with cleaner, fresher designs and an emphasis on total performance, including enhanced handling and acceleration. Pontiac delivers driving excitement and value with a wide-ranging model lineup that appeals to today's active customers.

For 2003, Pontiac introduces an all-new vehicle, the innovative Vibe, and has made significant changes to the rest of the lineup to deliver more of what Pontiac customers want. Aztek, for example, provides more in-vehicle entertainment choices for 2003. Bonneville enhances interior comfort and adds XM Satellite Radio. Grand Am offers a freshened exterior across the SE lineup. Grand Prix models for 2003 add an AM/FM stereo with single-disc CD changer as standard equipment. Montana has a new extended wheelbase Special Value model and Sunfire offers a host of improvements for 2003, including a new, powerful, quiet and fuel-efficient engine, an enhanced exterior and sporty interior fabrics.

The 2003 Pontiac lineup:

* Vibe: Vibe accentuates Pontiac driving excitement while ushering in a new, fresh competitiveness for GM in the arena of affordable small cars. Vibe is an athletically designed vehicle with sports-car performance in its GT variant, wagon-like passenger- and cargo-carrying capacity, and the commanding position and all-wheel-drive capability of today's SUVs. Pontiac Vibe is equipped with an array of thoughtful and innovative features, including a 115-volt standard power outlet with a wall-type plug located in the front console. It enables customers to plug laptop computers, electric shavers or portable TVs, right into the front console, without the need of an adapter.

* Aztek: New entertainment features include a DVD passenger entertainment system and XM Satellite Radio. Both are newly available for 2003. Other Aztek product enhancements for 2003 include new wheels and tires for the FWD model and the addition of a tire-inflation monitoring system to the Comfort & Security equipment package. Four new exterior colors are available for 2003: Electric Blue Metallic, Light Gray Metallic, Summit White and Victory Red.

* Bonneville: For 2003, Bonneville SSEi's standard driver's bucket seat now has power lumbar and power recliner controls, and all Bonneville models offer the available XM Satellite Radio - adding yet another entertainment medium for Bonneville owners. One new color, Steel Blue Metallic, is available for 2003.

* Grand Am: Big news for Grand Am for 2003 is the addition of a new, uplevel SE2 package. It delivers more power, more standard equipment and more available options than the rest of the SE lineup. Other important Grand Am enhancements for 2003 include a freshened exterior on all SE models and three new exterior colors on all Grand Am models: Summit White, Victory Red and Graystone Metallic.

* Grand Prix: Grand Prix models for 2003 benefit from a series of improvements designed to provide greater value to their customers. Standard across the entire model lineup is an AM/FM stereo system with a single-disc CD changer, assist grips, rear reading lamps, an overhead console and a rear-trunk passthrough. Grand Prix Preferred Equipment Groups also have been revised for 2003, enabling customers to better tailor Grand Prix to their particular needs. Victory Red replaced the Bright Red exterior color on GT and GTP models.

* Montana: Giving families on a budget more room for passengers and cargo, 2003 Montana offers an extended wheelbase value model. All 2003 Montana Special Value models feature a 60/40 split-folding second-row bench seat, providing greater flexibility, maximizing passenger- and cargo-carrying capability and facilitating access to Montana's third-row bench seat. Additionally, Equipment Groups have been eliminated, allowing customers to choose only those features that are important to them. A new color, Summit White, is added to Montana's exterior palette for 2003.

* Sunfire: There are many enhancements to the 2003 Sunfire, beginning with a new powerplant: the Ecotec 2.2L L4 engine. With quiet operation, optimal performance and fuel economy, the Ecotec engine delivers 140 hp @ 5600 rpm and 150 lb-ft @ 4000 rpm. Sunfire also sports a new exterior for 2003, revisions to the Sport suspension and a 60/40 split-fold rear seat. OnStar is newly available as an option on the Sunfire 1SB and 1SC Preferred Equipment Groups. Sunfire offers three patriotic exterior colors for 2003: Victory Red, Summit White and Electric Blue Metallic.
