If you have any problems let me know. Can just turn on without flashing/changing the software. Holden won't be able to do it for you unfortunately

The other thing with the later version apart from losing sound quality is the config-audio-volume now does nothing. You can't adjust the start up volume or the phone volume. The slider moves but does F all. That explains the centre speaker issue that every one has. Get the first version & it all works. Must be in the VuC software as this stayed the same when they flashed mine back. You never hear of any one complaining about shit sound or the center speaker in the first of the SII sv6 or ss. It's all the later versions or after thiers was updated.

Can't holden SPS ThunderSnow's IQ and set it to 4 chanel (SV6 sedan-wagon) if he already has the latest s/w version? It's a pain in the ass to have to pull it out & send it away if that's the only other option. Unless you can send him a "flash" module or do it over the phone. LOL

no... to go from 2 or 4 speaker setup is sedan or ute.... to go from one to the other is VIN change... VIN change means security lock out :)

Ok, then saying that, how does it work when the IQ gets flashed to blue (calais). My vin states SV6 but still works perfectly set up with calais sedan trim (Blue), as well as my calais cluster still with the original calais sedan vin that it came out of with no vin change or tech2. Plus mine is a sportwagon, not a sedan. That is saying that the IQ should lock out with calais trim as the vin in it is sv6 which don't match the calais & the calais trim don't come in a sv6 standard. When it is flashed dont you select trim colour & make/model of the car & enter vin seperatly?

This line came from a holden GOLD tech You cant set the speakers, it does it automatically off the make and model of the car.
You could probably enter the wrong make/model but generally that wouldnt happen unless on purpose to activate rear speakers on a ute for example.

because the section to flash the colour is a different option... .. you chose the vin (in your case the correct vin) but you lie about the interior...... hence you get the correct vin to operate in your car.. and the colour you wanted

the vin states whether it is ute or sedan etc... so it sets the fader up... if you lie about the vin it will flash the OS to suit those fader specs and also flash in the vin

doubledip is 100% correct. Holden DOES NOT have the ability to pick and choose if its Ute, Sedan, 2 speaker, 4 speaker, change vin etc. We do (doubledip and I)

-The color is tied to OS. Its STORED in the OS file. The VUC does not store any color or information like that.
-You can have blue in 3 different OS etc etc
-As said the OS it puts in the car and the color is based on you VIN you enter at the start of SPS, the color is based on the interior. You can back flash an older OS piece of piss if you know how and have the old file. It takes about 15minutes
-The older OS's have problems so this is why they updated them to fix the glitches.

Heres proof how i KNOW:

My IQ background with blue buttons.

And gold class Holden Tech means nothing. They dont have the tools that some people have made to do these things...... They are tied to the dealer tools available and VCI etc.

So then you are lying to the same unit about colour, which is ok with the wrong vin. That vin knows that my car is not a calais, it's a sv6! Would go the same for setting a different model (sedan-ute)of car under that vin as well. What you saying, is that you don't enter the make/model of the car & vin seperatly when flashing the unit. Am I right?

Jezzab....looks awsome.....good sticker....LOL

You put in the VIN and the make. It cross references and then you set the interior (which defines if its blue or red) and pulls the files associated with the VIN ready for flashing.

Sticker??

the vin you put in has to be the correct vin of car otherwise radio gets locked out... the next option you have is TRIM COLOUR... this determines the colour of screen getting flashed in.....

there is no sedan ute option... that's off the vin
