No I'm not asking for a free dvd. but a huge discount would be half alright. & You'd think the tech could do the vim & put it on holdens bill. BIG lol. Cheers see you later, Scotty
PS: Once he gets out of "Castle Hill" on to the freeway the drive is pretty good & straight through, not like Sydney which is like driving through an ultimate wiring harness these days!! (ex penrith guy)

Back again. Justin (holden tech) just flashed it back to the original software. What a difference in sound quality. the front speaker still stays on when faded to the rear, but is not overpowering like before. It does fade out about 50% but because I can hear the rear speakers now it is hardly noticeable.
The PISS_OFFS: He wouldn't put the screen back to blue. He wouldn't enable the RSE.
He reckons that changing the screen colour can cause all sorts of problems!! as well as putting in the calais cluster????? "WHAT"
Yeh problems with my f^*#%$g EYES. My mate has had his 2012 SV6 ute done for 6 months now & no probs. I will admit that he's ute's IQ sounded shit before the blue and the same after the change.
At least now i've got bass back, loudness button works & a bonus.."BACK SPEAKERS" that I can hear.
He left my dealer the usb drive he used & told them to put it into the usb, go into "options" & then should be able to change the trim colour. I hope he is right. Cheers.

Not quite as easy and just going into "Options" to get it to load the USB stick lol. And it will depend on what he has on the USB stick.

Yeh as I thought as well, it was Justin C. They didn't put in a new system. Just came with his laptop & tech2, about 45 mins and done. Sound quality is good, but the front centre speaker still screams when faded to the back. It used to fade out with the front door speakers, but not now. It is a lot worse when playing CD's but not as bad on FM. Work that out! Maybe just a better stereo field on the cd's compared to the FM radio.

If you have USB stick with an old version of the software you wont even need to VCI it :p

Sorry jezzab, I should of elaborated a bit more. He said to plug their laptop in, usb stick in then in their program go to "options" then should be able to change the screen colour. I hope he's right without updating the software again.
Thanks doubledip. I was assuming that he had the software on the usb stick, but he was very reluctant to say much. I would say thats what's on it.
