Interior Modifications

Calais memory seats into any other model

Specific interior modification information for Holden Commodore VE and VEII Series Commodores, and HSV E1, E2, and E3 models

Im currently putting seats from a calais-v into my omega. Seats had leather burnt on them. Passenger seat even melted backrest tilt motor and wiring.

But as i havent seen it anywhere else, i thought id do a writeup along with the process of "skinning" seats and moving foam and covers between frames(if you have an ssv for example and want memory functions but don't want to lose your sporty ss-v leather seats), as well as the wiring.

I will also upload the wiring diagram from a Gregory's manual.

Stage 1:Wiring - complete
Stage 2: Seat removal
Stage 3: Skinning
Stage 4: Installation

I think the "memory" seats are controlled by the BCM which links to each key. Not sure if the omega BCM will do the job or if it can be reprogrammed for it. The gregorys manual are very brief for wiring etc. I have found the Haines manuals a lot more detailed. cheers
