Specific interior modification information for Holden Commodore VE and VEII Series Commodores, and HSV E1, E2, and E3 models

Hi everyone ive got a ssv my9.5 im wanting to put the binncle gauges in problem is i have two sets one e1 and one e2 the e2 looks better and is in better condition but has no module can i use the e1 module even though the read outs on gauges are different or will i need to calibrate the gauge i see you can buy new faces off ebay but the look of the e2 face appeals to me more

Mix and Matching gauges with different series master modules = Incorrect readings.
If you want to use the E2 gauges, you will need to get E2 module. They are unfortunately not cheap so it will cost a bit to get the E2 gauges up and running.
Your best (And much cheaper!) option is to use the E1 gauges.

Hi,
Know that this is an old post....but does any of you have a eeprom dump of the High Range ( E2 ) control unit ( VDO Blackbox??
I have an 1. gen Blackbox ( low range ) and have copied the eeprom data from it - my task would be to try reprogram it and put a set of High range gauges on to see if this would work....but need a copy of the eeprom data from the newer Blackbox.
Eeprom is a ST95320 and is located right beside the yellow connector.
