BINGO!
The HVAC module for LHD cars is located up /next to the fan motor. On Std AC cars the module has only 2 plugs (X1 - feed from the main loom + HVAC loom for doors/recirc etc). The DZ module (GM part no. 92215229) has 3 plus with the 3rd being for the DZ blend door.
PLugging in the DZ module into the std loom (ie. no third plug) results in the all the functions working except the relevant temperature sensors (inside temp, ambient temp, left sun load, right sun load) arent showing. Need to place resistors in pin 1,2, 12 & 13.
In order to make the unit work as outlined by the tutorial on line here, you need to place resistors or add the sensors to the X1 plug - I havent bother figuring out how to bridge the module with resistors as per the RHD module, as it looks easy enough to loop the resistors onto the X1 plug.
